Exclusive: Cody Alan Discovers Red Rocks’ Hidden Tunnel

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a magical place where fitness freaks climb stone staircases, music gurus flock for unscathed acoustics, rock bands become legends, and man connects with nature to make history. Regardless of what brings you to this venue the majestic setting and the panoramic views of Denver make it a breathtaking and emotional experience.

This 112-year-old Amphitheatre also holds a deep, dark secret. A secret that Cody Alan discovered with the help of a friendly venue attendant and site historian. The secret? An underground tunnel is hidden beneath the Red Rocks Amphitheatre spanning from the stage all the way to the sound engineering area. The stone walls serve as a historical record, showing signatures from some of music’s biggest names and their crews.

Unless you are performing or working production at the esteemed venue, you may never set eyes on the tunnel. If you are lucky enough to make it down there, you will surely find at least of your favorite famed signatures.

The Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a rare venue where we stand on the surface awestruck by the historical and natural brilliance and ask ourselves, “What if these walls could talk?” only to find out that they actually do.

Join Cody for the CMT Hot 20 Countdown this Saturday and Sunday at 9a/8c and see Little Big Town and Ashley McBryde takeover the Red Rocks stage. It’s a show you won’t want to miss.
