Rashida Jones and Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig Welcome First Child

Celebration is in order. Rashida Jones and Ezra Koenig welcomed their first kid... in August!

As E! News reports, the Parks and Recreation star gave birth to a baby boy on August 22nd. His name is Isaiah Jones Koenig.

The ultra-secretive couple sparked dating rumors in 2016 when they were spotted attending a New York Knicks game together. In 2017, the Vampire Weekend frontman and actress attended the Sundance Film Festival together, seemingly confirming rumors, though neither person has ever publicly addressed the status of their relationship.

While discussing motherhood with The Guardian in 2014, Jones said "I'm happy, but the fact that I'm not married and don't have kids — it's taken me a long time to get to a place where I actually am OK with that, where I actually don't feel like I'm some sort of loser."

Meanwhile, Koenig has been hard at work on Vampire Weekend's fourth studio album and long-awaited follow up to 2013's critically acclaimed Modern Vampires of the City. In August, he confirmed the album was finished and in the process of mastering, though no official announcement or release date has been revealed.

After their set at Lollapalooza, Koenig treated fans at the after party to a taste of new material by plugging his phone into an aux cord and playing the songs through a PA system.
