Talk about good timing.
Though we're not sure if it was planned or not, Beck and Jenny Lewis covered Neil Young's "Harvest Moon" during the actual harvest moon.
The duo performed a relaxed version of the song during the singer-songwriter's Colors tour Colorado stop at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 27, which just so happened to also be the first full moon after the autumnal equinox.
Beck and Lewis — who's been acting as support on various tour dates — nonchalantly sang, sometimes in unison sometimes harmonizing. Beck and his guitarist casually strummed acoustic guitars while other band members played mandolins, making it feel like a group of friends jamming in their basement rather than playing in front of thousands of people.

This isn't the first time Beck's collaborated onstage this month. In early September, he joined Phoenix onstage in L.A. to play two of his songs — "Lost Cause" off 2002's Sea Change and "Jack-Ass" off 1996's Odelay — during the Parisian alt-rockers' residency. Later in the month, he brought out Gary Numan during his headlining Riot Fest set to perform his '70s hit "Cars."
After being on the road for most of the year, Beck plays his last show on Thursday night (September 28) at L.A.'s Hollywood Bowl, and we can only imagine what he has in store for that crowd.
