Sophie Turner Hilariously Trolled Jonas Brothers Fans On Instagram

Oh no she didn't! Sophie Turner just came for the Jonas Brothers on Instagram. The 22-year-old actress posted a series of videos to her Instagram stories last night (Oct. 1), calling them "the tea with Soph." In one of those videos, she hilariously trolled her fiancé Joe Jonas, as well as Jonas Brothers fans everywhere. 

"The Jonas Brothers were not the biggest band of the noughties," Sophie says in the video. "Busted was and that's the tea." She then pans the phone over to show her followers that Joe is sitting right next to her and his face says it all. 

Busted was an English pop-rock band, so, it makes sense that Sophie was a fan, as she's English herself. It's funny that she makes the Busted/Jonas Brothers comparison, though, because the JoBros first big hit "Year 3000" is actually a cover of Busted's second single from their debut album. Busted released their version of "Year 3000" in 2002 and Joe, along with his brothers Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas, released a more PG-friendly version of the song in 2006. 

"Year 3000" put the Jonas Brothers on the pop culture map in a major way, launching them into a new level of fame. This has had positive repercussions for Busted, as well. When asked about the cover in an interview with PopBuzz a few years ago, Busted member Matt Willis said, "Dude, they paid my mortgage for four years, I'm stoked to bits. Thank you very much Jonas Brothers." 

Though the Jonas Brothers may have become more famous than Busted over the years, they've got one very important person on their side: Joe Jonas's fianceé. And that's the tea.
