Ozzy Osbourne Hospitalized For Hand Infection

Ozzy Osbourne was forced to reschedule a show at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, on Saturday night (October 6). The legendary rock icon began to feel ill and sought medical attention. He was eventually admitted to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles and endured surgery on his hand after suffering a nasty infection. Ozzy's official Twitter handle broke the news.

"Today’s show at @ShorelineAmp in Mountain View, CA has being postponed due to illness," the tweet read, alongside a photo of the singer's bandaged right hand. "Ozzy is being treated for an infection and will spend a couple of days at Cedars-Sinai in LA. Today’s show has been rescheduled for Tues, Oct 16 (support act is TBA)."

A few hours later, the Black Sabbath singer's Twitter shared another photo to assure fans that Ozzy is doing just fine.

"Feeling better after surgery," the tweet read. "Ice cream helps." The post included a picture of the 69-year-old rockstar enjoying an ice cream cone.

Ozzy's Mountain View show has been rescheduled for October 16th. Originally purchased tickets will be honored at the event. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase. 

No other details about Ozzy's health have been revealed at this time.
