Will Smith is set to join his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, as well as his daughter Willow Smith and mother-in-law Adrienne Banfield-Norris, on their popular Facebook Watch show Red Talk Table. The talk show is known for its candid discussions about love, family, grief, and so much more. It looks like Will's appearance on the show isn't going to shy away from dealing with difficult topics. In fact, a preview for the upcoming episode show's the 50-year-old actor recalling a time when he was "failing miserably" in his marriage to Jada.
"There was a period where Mommy woke up and cried 45 days straight. I started keeping a diary," Will says to his wife, daughter, and mother-in-law. "It was every morning. I think that's the worst I've ever felt in our marriage. I was failing miserably."
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor definitely has a reputation for being an open book, but being able to discuss your personal failings with your family (on camera!) is no easy feat. It seems that Will and Jada have worked through this rough patch. Jada was even able to joke about it during the episode, telling Will she thinks "he missed some days" after he revealed he'd been counting.
Both Will and Jada frequently share moments from their over two-decades-long relationship on social media. Back in August, Will posted a selfie with his wife, writing, "I just realized... This year we’ve been together more than HALF OUR LIVES!" That's a pretty incredible accomplishment. And while everybody wants to believe their favorite celebrity couple never has bad days, Will and Jada are here to show you that everybody has bad days. And that it's possible to work through them.
Red Talk Table will be back on Facebook Watch on October 22 with Will Smith as a special guest. Will you be tuning in?
