4 New LPD Officers Take Oath

Lima, OH (WIMA) -- 4 brand new Police Officers took their Oath of Office in Lima Municipal Court on Monday.

The officers were given the Oath by Judge Tammie Hursh, and then they received their badges from Chief Kevin Martin.

The officers will go through in-house training, and attend the police academy at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy in January.

The new officers are:

Abigail Homan, age 23 from Maria Stein Ohio. 

Darien Gaukin, age 24 from Mount Victory Ohio. 

Tyler Dunlap, age 24 from Lima. 

Riley Brubaker, age 23 from Columbus Grove.
