Artist Creates Life-Size Sasquatch Sculpture
October 25, 2018
An artist in Canada who specializes in sculptures made of driftwood has produced a monstrous new piece depicting Sasquatch. According to a Canadian media outlet, the massive work of art can be found on British Columbia's Quadra Island and was crafted by a man named Alex Witcombe. Comprised entirely of driftwood, the faux creature stands a whopping eight feet tall and weighs around 500 pounds.
Residents of the island have already taken a liking to the awe-inspiring piece, saying that its proven to be particularly appreciated by local children. That said, they conceded that the statue could be a bit creepy should someone unaware of its presence stumble upon the somewhat menacing at dusk.
