Meghan Markle Makes Fashion Faux Pas During Royal Tour

Look, it happens to the best of us. You buy a pretty new dress. You get really excited and want to wear it immediately. The only problem is, you forget to take the tag off in all your excitement. This fashion faux pas happened to Meghan Markle during her royal tour with Prince Harry and TBH it's so relatable.

The Duchess of Sussex looked fabulous, of course, in a gorgeous red Self-Portrait dress for their arrival in Tonga. The only sartorial hiccup she experienced was her tag sticking out of the bottom of the dress. If you super zoom in on photos of the tag, you can just make out the standard retail line of "returns will only be accepted if this tag remains attached." Maybe the Duchess is planning on sending the dress back after the tour? Who amongst us hasn't bought a dress with the intention of returning it after one wear?

As E! News reports, Meghan had the dress altered to fall at her mid-calf. Self-Portrait's website shows that the original design is a full-length maxi dress. In all likelihood, Meghan and her stylists probably didn't realize the tag would show after the dress was altered. According to Self-Portrait, the dress retails at $515.89.

Meghan was still the picture of poise and grace, as usual, even with her tag sticking out. Next time you accidentally wear your shirt inside out or have the tag sticking out of your fancy new dress, just remember: if the Duchess of Sussex can pull it off, so can you!
