91-year-old William Daniels, who is known for playing the role of Mr. Feeny on the popular 1990's television show Boy Meets World, managed to thwart a burglary at his home in the San Fernando Valley on Saturday (October 27) evening. Police said that Daniels was at home with his 89-year-old wife, Bonnie Bartlett, when an intruder tried to kick in their back door.

Daniels heard the commotion and quickly turned the lights on in his house, scaring the attempted burglar away. A spokesman for Daniels told Fox News that the actor and his wife are doing fine following the terrifying incident.

“Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded. They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern"

Police do not have a suspect and said they do not believe that the burglary is related to a string of break-ins that have targeted high-profile celebrities.
