At just 25-years-old, Ariana Grande has experienced plenty of highs and lows, and the pop singer has therapy to thank for assisting in her recovery.

Days after the release of her new single "thank u, next," Grande took to Twitter to speak with her loyal following and opened up about her own method of self-care. When one user jokingly asked about the identity of the singer's therapist, she responded accordingly on Monday (November 5). "lmaoaoo this is funny as f**k but in all honesty therapy has saved my life so many times," she responded. "if you're afraid to ask for help, don’t be. u don't have to be in constant pain & u can process trauma. i've got a lot of work to do but it's a start to even be aware that it's possible. 🖤"

Grande recently opened up about her mental health in her TV special, "Ariana Grande at the BBC," and detailed just why her anxiety has led her to feel guilty given her power star responsibilities. "I almost feel guilty that I have it [anxiety] because it's just in your head and it's just so crazy how powerful it is," she told BBC host Davina McCall. "You have ups and downs and sometimes you'll go weeks at a time where you will be crushing it and there will be no anxiety…and then something will happen that can trigger it and then you have a couple of down days."

Nonetheless, Grande said that the most vital part of dealing with mental issues is leaning on a circle of friends and family to support you during the trying times. "The most important thing is to remember that…everybody has this. Talk to your loved ones, reach out to people, especially your friends online. Reach out to each other," she continued.
