Jon Gosselin Shared A Rare Photo With His Son Collin Gosselin

Collin Gosselin made a rare appearance on Jon Gosselin's Instagram over the weekend. The 14-year-old sextuplet appeared on TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8 during his childhood. Since the show ended, however, Collin has appeared less frequently on his parents' Instagram accounts than his seven siblings have. Back in 2016, Kate Gosselin revealed to People that Collin had been enrolled in a special needs program away from home. He got to have a nice visit with his dad, as well as his sister Hannah Gosselin, and the trio were all smiles. 

Jon shared a photo with Hannah and Collin, the three of them posing outside their home, writing "Had a good weekend visit with Collin at home!" Back in May, Hannah and Jon visited Collin at this school for the sextuplet's birthday. He shared a photo on that occasion, as well, writing, "glad I could celebrate my son Collin's 14th birthday with him and his sister!"

It's great to see Collin spending some quality family time with his dad and sister, though the Gosselin family dynamic has grown complicated since Jon and Kate split. Hannah and Collin are reportedly the only two Gosselin children currently on good terms with their dad. While Hannah appears to be living with Jon full time, the rest of her siblings do not have much of a relationship with him. 

"He makes it seem like we’re being kept from him, which is insane," Mady Gosselin told People in 2016. "He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen. He doesn’t even know us. How can he dare to talk about us?"

Mady's twin sister, Cara Gosselin, also spoke to People, saying she "wouldn’t even know what to say about him."

There's no denying that families are complicated. Hopefully, though, Jon, Collin, and Hannah enjoyed their time together.
