Did Ariana Grande Just Drop A Surprise Album Under An Alias?

Over the weekend, Ariana Grande dropped an impromptu single dedicated to her former romances called "thank u, next," so it isn't too wild of a thought that the 25-year-old also secretly released a whole album called Nobody Does It Better under the alias named Zandhr.

Unfortunately, a representative for the singer told ET Canada that the album in question has no affiliation with the singer. Additionally, a source close to the pop star told BBC's Newsbeat that the release was "completely unofficial and was posted by an unauthorized third party." In case you missed out, fans spotted Nobody Does It Better on Monday (November 5). The set included 10 tracks with cuts like "Cadillac" and "Champagne," which were thought to be previously unreleased songs by the pop singer. To be specific, "Champagne" is reportedly a version of a track called "Pink Champagne" which was first performed back in 2015.

Meanwhile, Zandhr's bio page appeared in sync with Grande's recent upside down album font and the only affiliated playlist under the artist profile was none other than a Best of Ariana Grande compilation with 160,000 followers. Still, as listeners were doing their research, the compilation was pulled from various streaming services, leaving fans with just a whole lot of confusion as to the significance behind the set. Considering Grande's recent candid confessions on Twitter, we're anticipating her to sound off on the release though. Prepare for your glorious shoutout, Zandhr!
