An 11-year-old boy from Ohio was arrested after he stole his mother's car and led police on a dangerous high-speed chase because he was angry that she took away his PlayStation. The chase started just after 11 pm on Sunday (November 4) when a Brooklyn police officer went to check on a vehicle that was parked outside of an abandoned fire station.

The boy sped off, hitting a top speed of 87-miles-per-hour as he veered into oncoming traffic. Officers called off the chase after they learned that the driver was an 11-year-old boy. 25 minutes later, the boy managed to make it to Cleveland, where he flipped the vehicle over after ramming it into a parked car.

Cleveland police responded to the accident and he was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries to his hand and wrist.

This is not the boy's first run-in with police. In October 2017, the boy stole the car of his mother's boyfriend, and his father's car, within the same week. Each time he led police on a dangerous high-speed chase on the highway.

Police said that boy will face felony charges in juvenile court.
