Joe Perry Debuts New Music Video, Announces Tour

November 9, 2018
Joe Perry of the iconic band Aerosmith has announced a new single and tour with Extreme front man Gary Cherone.
The new song, "Quake," is 3:42 of pure rock 'n' roll admiration. It's got all the guitar wizardry Perry fans love, plus a relentless backbeat intended to make a dance floor appear in any bar room.
The music video, directed by Perry's son Roman Perry, features Joe rocking the song with just his guitar and an amp as a pair of dancers interpret it with their bodies.
You can hear the song and watch the video above.
For the tour, Perry's band will include Cherone and his Aerosmith axe-mate Brad Whitford in a combo Perry debuted this past spring.
The 10-city trek kicks off in Iowa on November 30. In addition to performing songs from Perry's latest solo album, Sweetzerland Manifesto, the band's setlist will include material from Perry's back catalog as a solo artist, plus rarely-performed early-Aerosmith cuts from albums like Toys in the Attic, Get Your Wings and Rocks.
