Meg Ryan Confirms Engagement to John Mellencamp

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp and actress Meg Ryan are engaged.
Ryan announced the good news in a whimsical drawing she posted on Instagram with the caption "Engaged."
It will be Mellencamp's fourth marriage and Ryan's second.
People magazine reports the two have dated on and off since 2011. They got back together as recently as May 2017 when they were spotted at a restaurant in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Ryan's announcement came a few hours after she was photographed in New York City wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring on her left hand.
Mellencamp has remained busy as a musician in recent years. His Sad Clowns & Hillbillies album was released last year. On Monday, Mellencamp dropped a music video for a new song, "Eyes on the Prize," from his forthcoming album Other People's Stuff, due out December 7.
