Police in Georgia arrested a 22-year-old man who they say created a fake GoFundMe page claiming to raise money to help the family of a high school football player who died during a game in September. Justus Hughley created the GoFundMe page just days after 17-year-old Dylan Thomas suffered a traumatic brain injury while playing and passed away.

Authorities did say how much money Hughley had raised but said that he never received the funds. He attempted to transfer the funds to his personal account using a bank in Iowa but the transaction was flagged as fraudulent and put on hold.

Investigators used the IP address logged by GoFundMe and the information from his bank account to track Hughley down and he was arrested at his Upton County home. He has been charged with computer theft.
