Detailed aerial photos of the damage done in the town of Paradise by the Camp Fire are now available for the public. Butte County, the Town of Paradise and Cal Fire released the photos today. One of the most striking takeaways people will see when they view the damage is how so many trees seemed untouched by the fires while homes appear completely destroyed. Experts say the reason for that is the wind was moving so fast the fire never had a chance to ignite in the treetops. However, once it hit the town, it quickly spread from one home to another.
