Diddy Pays Touching Tribute to Kim Porter Ahead of Her Funeral

On Saturday (November 24), Kim Porter was laid to rest in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia, and ahead of the funeral her ex Diddy gave a touching tribute to the actress/model via Instagram.

"Today we lay to rest our ANGEL," he captioned a photo of Porter donning a tiara, draped in white fur. "Her spirit lives on with us FOREVER!!! We thank you all for your prayers and support. You have no idea how much it means to us. We thank GOD for all of you."

Porter passed away in her Los Angeles home on November 15th. She was 47 years old. According to TMZ, she was experiencing "flu-like symptoms" for several weeks and went into cardiac arrest; however, her cause of death is still unknown.

She and Diddy dated from 1994 to 2007. During their 13-year relationship, they had three children together. Though their romantic relationship didn't work, they were still close friends and co-parents at the time of her passing.

Three days after Porter died, the business mogul shared the first of many tributes to his ex. "For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much," he wrote. "Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SH*T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love."
