The former football coach at the University of New Mexico and University of Maryland is the winner of the 2018 Broyles Award. Alabama Crimson Tide's offensive coordinator Mike Locksley won the recognition yesterday. The Broyles Award is given to the best assistant coach in NCAA football in honor of Frank Broyles, the Arkansas Razorback's legendary head football coach from 1958 to 1976. Mike Locksley whose son Kai is UTEP's quarterback, was also hired again yesterday as the next head coach of the University of Maryland Terrapins.
