Washing Machine Theft Gets Dirty

A man's attempt to steal a washing machine gets stuck, literally. Spartanburg, South Carolina police say that Willie Lee Rowell allegedly broke into a home, stole a washing machine and got the appliance into his car. This was no small feat as Rowell drives a moderate sized 2001 Honda Accord.  Police say he was about to make a clean break from the scene when his car got stuck in the mud. From that point it wasn't tough for officers to arrest him, still spinning his wheels. When they picked him up, police say Rowell was high on meth.
