DES MOINES, Iowa - A second teen in a high speed crash Monday night in Des Moines has died.

Police say 17-year-old Jair Sanchez-Banos was the driver of the car that witnesses say was going 90 to 100 miles per hour when it crashed into a stand of trees.

He died from his injuries Wednesday night.

A 16-year-old passenger, Emilio Esteban Garcia died at the hospital shortly after the crash.

Des Moines police officers were looking for the car, which had been reported stolen, and reported in a drive by shooting, before the crash.
