Paul McCartney knows how to respond to an encore.
The former Beatles bassist thanked an audience at London's O2 Arena Sunday night by welcoming his former band mate Ringo Starr and Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood to join him on stage.
Wood, Starr and McCartney's band performed a rendition of the Beatles' classic "Get Back."
McCartney brought out Wood and Starr after performing his 1979 hit "Wonderful Christmastime" with the Capital Children's Choir.
As the children's choir exited to the right, an additional drum set was wheeled onstage behind McCartney. Fans began to cheer in anticipation of something special when McCartney introduced Wood, giving the ex-Faces guitarist a kiss on the cheek as he arrived center stage.
Ringo received a standing ovation from the audience before taking his seat at the drum kit and counting the band in.
