Turning Back Time: Macy's 8th Floor Santaland!

When I was a kid, we'd see a different holiday display every year at the Dayton's 8th Floor Auditorium in downtown Minneapolis. 

Some of the themes over the years included Pippi Longstocking, Velveteen Rabbit, Wizard Of Oz and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory among others. In more recent years, presumably due to budget cuts, the same Santaland/Day In The Life Of An Elf was recycled each season - which was just fine with us.
