Christmas came early thanks to Michelle Obama.

The former first lady gifted the world its first Christmas gift of the season as she blessed us by wearing the most fabulous, high-fashion, and downright baddest boots we ever did see.

For the final stop of her book tour for her memoir Becoming, in New York City, Michelle wore glittery over-the-knee Balenciaga boots (which retail for nearly $4,000), that were completely covered in glittering gold sequins. The crowd was in awe when Michelle first stepped out to be interviewed at the Barclays Center by Sarah Jessica Parker (how fitting — Carrie Bradshaw would have loved Michelle's boots).

The best-selling author paired her glamorous over-the-knee boots with a bright canary yellow wrap dress also made by Balenciaga.

Michelle's look nearly broke the Internet with Twitter users calling the look that saved 2018!

Speaking of unforgettable looks. Earlier this week, Michelle got real about her thoughts on Donald Trump's inauguration day after Jimmy Fallon showed her a picture of her and Barack Obama from that day.

When the The Tonight Show host asked the former first lady if she could "just walk [him] through..." (he seemingly was going to say mindset that day) Michelle didn't even give him time to finish his question before responding with two words that perfectly described the high level of "over it" she was that day. "Bye, Felicia," she oh-so-savagely interjected.

After that classy read, Michelle added, "A lot was going on that day. My daughters’ friends decided they needed a sleepover for the last day, and I was like, ‘are you guys kidding me?'" she joked. "'We’re leaving, you gotta take all your stuff, pick it up all the blankets and bears' — while they’re crying — and I’m like 'get out, we gotta go!'" Michelle also brought up the infamous Tiffany's box that Melania Trump gave her outside the White House. "Then there was the Tiffany's box. It just all, you know, a lot," she admitted.
