28 Celeb Couples Who Got Engaged in 2018

Now that 2018 is coming to a close (seriously, how is it already late December?!), we thought we’d take a look back at some of the most memorable celebrity engagements to take place within the past 12 months. Some of those engagements turned into marriages (Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin and Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra both tied the knot months after their respective proposals), while other, less successful engagements, led to the dissolution of their relationships (Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande wound up calling it quits just a few months in). 1. Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson

The former inseparable love birds got engaged after just a few weeks of dating, but shortly ended their engagement in October. 

2. Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin

Justin and Hailey got engaged over the summer and secretly eloped in September. They are still planning on having a religious ceremony and are still very much in love. 

3. Nick Jonas & Priyanka Chopra

Another summer engagement! Nick and Priyanka got engaged in Greece over the summer and just got married this December.

4. Lady Gaga & Christian Carino

Gaga and Carino started dating in February of 2017 and announced their engagement in October of this year.

5. Ellie Goulding & Caspar Jopling

Ellie and her boyfriend of 18 months, Caspar, announced their engagement in the U.K.’s The Times newspaper. 

6. Karlie Kloss & Josh Kushner

Karlie and Josh got in engaged over the summer. The couple had been dating for 6 years and tied the knot in October. 

7. Chance the Rapper & Kirsten Corley

Chance the Rapper got engaged to longtime girlfriend and mother of his child, Kirsten Corley, on the Fourth of July this year.

Luke and his girlfriend of two years got engaged earlier this year.

Teddy and her girlfriend Emily announced they were dating back in September. They shortly announced their engagement over a series of sweet instagram photos in November.

Gina and Joe have met in 2016 and got engaged in July this year.

Leona met her now fiancé while on her 2010 U.K. tour. Dennis was her back-up dancer and the two have been together ever since.

Elvis Duran’s long-time boyfriend Alex Carr proposed to him on Friday the 13th saying that he finds the day to be lucky, as lucky as the day he met Elvis. 

14. Trace Cyrus & Taylor Lauren Sanders

The two singers announced their engagement over Instagram this December. The newly engaged couple also released a music video together in August.

15. Lea Michele & Zandy Reich

The couple have been together for over a year and Lea Michele announced their engagement on her Instagram in April.

16. Michelle Williams & Chad Johnson

Michelle and Chad announced their engagement back in April, but ultimately decided to end the engagement in December.

17. Matthew Lawrence & Cheryl Burke

The couple got engaged back in May at the beautiful Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach.

18. Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino & Lauren Pesce
