Jennifer Lopez's big day for her new film, Second Act, has arrived and the pop mega-star capitalized off the release by dropping the music video for the film's theme song, "Limitless," which features her 10-year-old daughter, Emme.
During the high-energy video, Lopez is seen in a number of different set-ups but the real star of the clip is the parallel concept, which sees the mother and daughter in identical scenes and wardrobe backed by a crew of all-female dancers. One of the most prominent set-ups involves the two climbing a mountain to symbolize the song's lyrical content, as well as the overarching theme of Second Act. "I told myself I had to be a different someone/ In order to win at a war I had already won/ Yeah, I'd given up on the saying 'I'll never give up'/ But look at me now/ Yeah, look at me, I'm limitless," she sings during the chorus of the song, which was written by Sia.
Back in August, iHeartRadio spoke with Lopez about the film and the triple-threat admitted that she loves the idea of being able to have a second chance. Asked if she's ever felt similar to Maya, her street-smart character in the film, it's clear that the industry has impacted Lopez in more ways than one could imagine. "It's a tough business, and when you've been in it as long as I have ... It's a great business," she admitted. "I wouldn't want it any other way. I have no complaints, but you get beat up when you're out there in the public eye. Sometimes they're trying to tell you that you're not great or that you're not worthy or you're not this or you're not that, and that gets inside your head."
