Fall Out Boy Got a Shout Out on Post Malone's New Song "Wow"

Post Malone gave fans the gift of new music this holiday season. Just days before Christmas, the rapper released a new song called "Wow," complete with a festive video featuring a cartoon Posty, tattooed elves, a blinged out snowman, and the whole nine yards.

While surprise song releases are always exciting, what really made us happy was a certain mention. In the track, the 23-year-old gave Fall Out Boy a shout out during his first verse. "“G-Wagen, G-Wagen, G-Wagen, G-Wagen / All the housewives pullin’ up (Up, up) / I got a lot of toys, 720S bumpin’ Fall Out Boy,” he raps.

Check out the video below, and listen for the mention around the :28 mark.

The shout out shouldn't come as too big of a surprise. Post Malone did show off his best skateboarding moves in Fall Out Boy's "Champion" video, after all.

FOB fandom aside, the rapper isn't shy about his love for rock music. He's been documented hanging out with Metallica's Kirk Hammett, joked about getting a Panic! At The Disco face tattoo after his scary emergency plane landing back in October, and performed with Aerosmith during this year's VMAs.

Our only question is, when are we going to see Posty record a song with one of his rock idols?
