Seth Rogen took to Twitter on Tuesday (Dec. 25) to share a fun fact he had just learned about the classic holiday film Home Alone.
"My entire childhood, I thought the old-timey movie Kevin watches in Home Alone (Angels With Filthy Souls) was actually an old movie," the actor wrote on Twitter.
Rogen is referencing the black and white movie Kevin watches during Home Alone, as well as plays to scare the robbers off when they try to break in. The popular "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals," comes from the fake movie-within-the-movie.
My entire childhood, I thought the old timey movie that Kevin watches in Home Alone (Angels With Filthy Souls) was actually an old movie.

Once Rogen shared the news on Twitter, many other celebrities replied with their own shock at hearing Angels with Filthy Souls actually isn't a real movie.

If you didn't get the chance to watch Home Alone this holiday season, here's the clip Kevin watches to refresh your memory:
While Angels With Filthy Souls isn't a real movie, it is actually based on one. The title is a reference to Angels with Dirty Faces from 1938. The more you know!
