This year, as with many others, was all about honoring your truth. No one understands this experience more than the multitude of stars who celebrated their pride by standing in solidarity with their fellow members of the LGBTQ community.

The Hate U Give actress came out as gay in a June interview for Wonderland.
2. Tessa Thompson
The Creed star came out as bisexual in an interview with Porter magazine in June.
3. Lucas Hedges
In discussing where he falls on the spectrum with Vulture in September, the Boy Erased actor identified himself as "not totally straight, but also not gay and not necessarily bisexual."
4. Anna Akana
The Ant-Man performer came out as queer in an acceptance speech at the Streamy Awards in October.
5. Andrea Russett
The Sickhouse star revealed for the first time in a letter via social media that she came out as bisexual four years prior.

The professional dancer came out as bisexual in an essay written for Teen Vogue in March.

The lead vocalist of 1975 told Shortlist in November that he is attracted to men — though “not in a carnal, sexual way” — and that he’s also desired to kiss another man.
