Marcus Mumford may be a celebrity, but when he attend the Royal Wedding last spring, he was convinced the cameras wouldn't be on him. Unfortunately, he was wrong.

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Mumford & Sons frontman reminisced about the event, and the infamous photo of him yawning during the ceremony.

"[It was] hugely embarrassing, obviously," he admitted. "I got more text messages for that than I got for headlining Glastonbury. It was a long morning. I was convinced that there wouldn’t be many cameras on us, because there’s all these f**king famous people in the room. I said to my wife [actress Carey Mulligan] at one point, 'Give me a smooch, babe.' She goes, 'No way, there’s cameras everywhere.' And then, of course, they caught me yawning.

"Amazing wedding, though," he added. When asked how he's friends with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the generally outspoken singer-songwriter was a little more coy. "Privately," he said simply. "That’s probably all I’ll say about that."

During the conversation, Mumford also confessed to not being good at being famous and how Noel Gallagher telling him to get off his ass led to writing "Delta" and "Guiding Light." Read the full interview here.
