Members of Foo Fighters, Metallica & Iron Maiden Just Had an Epic Jam Sesh

When rockstars party together, there's naturally going to be a jam session involved. And that's exactly what happened when Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith recently found themselves at the same shindig.

As if those three weren't supergroup material enough in their own right, they were also joined by guitarist Howie Simon, who was a member of the '80s metal band Alcatrazz and played with Jeff Scott Soto and Wingeramong other notable bands, and singer-guitarist Richie Kotzen (The Winery Dogs, Poison, Mr. Big).

Howie documented the epic jam sesh with a slightly humble-braggy Instagram post that we totally love. "Sometimes at parties I jam with the bass player from Metallica, the drummer from the Foo Fighters, the guitarist from Iron Maiden, and my friend Richie," he wrote alongside the five legendary musicians playing in a room together. "I hope I'm not name dropping! Such a fun time - they always throw the best parties!"

Hate to break it to you Howie, but that was definitely name dropping. We ain't mad atcha though — we'd do the same thing if we were partying with those guys!
