Over the summer, Isaiah Silva sued Courtney Love, Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lutfi and others, accusing them of breaking and entering, assault, and harassment all due to a guitar that his ex-wife Frances Bean Cobain gifted to him. The instrument once belonged to the late Kurt Cobain, and Love wanted it back.
Now, however, the Hole band leader is claiming Lutfi has been harassing not only her, but her sister Jaimee and Frances as well. Late last year, she filed for a temporary restraining order against Lutfi, which the judge granted, stating “The escalating verbal harassment and threats of Sam Lutfi left no choice for Courtney and her family but to seek protection. The Cobains are grateful for the anti-harassment order issued by the Los Angeles Superior Court against Mr. Lutfi and the powers it provides law enforcement to assure that Mr. Lutfi terminates all contact with the family.”
Earlier this week, Love was granted a five-year restraining order against him. During the issuing, the judge said Lutfi "seems to prey upon people" and upped the order from the typical three years. The restraining order is meant to protect, Love, Frances, and Jaimee.
Lutfi worked as Spears' manager during the mid-2000s, which was when the pop star suffered her infamous meltdown and was hospitalized several times.
