Greta Van Fleet Don't Care If You Like Them, They Make Music For Themselves

When Greta Van Fleet released their debut full-length album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, in October they had no idea how the world would react. And honestly, they didn't really care.

"When we're in the studio, we're not thinking about what the people will like," bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka recently explained to The Sydney Morning Herald. "We make music for ourselves, honestly. We sculpt the album to be the way we want it to be rather than thinking, 'Well, this might be catchy' or 'This may be more effective to grab listeners.' When we released the album, we thought, 'Well, here goes nothing.'"

Lucky for them, the world was on their side. The album ended up topping the rock charts upon its release, and peaked at No. 3 on the general charts, and the single "When The Curtain Falls" ended up being the classic rock revivalists' third No. 1 on the rock charts.

This year finds the young band touring the world, playing various festivals and even Saturday Night Live, along the way. Check out their list of tour dates (festivals not included) below.
