Kate Gosselin Mom-Shamed Over Post About Her Kids' Homework

Another day, another mom shamed on Instagram for her personal choices. After sharing an update on her children's schooling on Instagram, Kate Gosselin was torn apart trolls in the comments section. Unfortunately for the mother-of-eight, experiencing mom-shaming isn't anything new. So, what did she get called out for this time? Helping her kids with their science fair projects. 

"Just buried in Science Fair projects over here... this time of year is truly a joy for all of us," Kate captioned a photo of her kids' projects. She also used the hashtags: #LastYearOfScienceFair, #CallsForACelebration, and #WorkHardAndGetDone, so, it's safe to assume the Gosselins aren't the biggest fans of their school science fair. 

Shortly after posting the update, though, Kate's followers began criticizing her decision to help the kids out with their project. "Why are you doing the work for them????" one asked, while another wrote, "Wouldn’t be so bad if you let them do their own projects. They’re very capable. Not perfect is okay.They are almost 15 years old…I doubt they need your help as much as you like to think they do. It’s their project, not yours."

Others went even further than criticizing Kate for helping her kids with their schoolwork. "I personally feel you did not do a good job bringing these kids up! You turned them against dad and one day they will hate you for it. Shame on you," one person wrote. Others even accused her of abandoning her son, Collin Gosselin, after she lost custody of him to her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin. Yikes.

Hopefully, Kate isn't in the habit of reading the comments on her Instagrams. And an evergreen reminder to anybody tempted to leave mean comments on Instagram: if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.
