Camila Cabello's Mom Previews Singer's New Music: Watch Her Reaction

Camila Cabello is working hard on her sophomore album and her adorable mother seems to be all in the know on the upcoming record.

On Thursday (January 31), the former Fifth Harmony bandmate took to social media to share a video of Sinuhe Cabello jamming out to a brand-new cut in a restaurant. Now, Sinuhe has earphones in, so we can't hear anything, but she does do a stellar air drum break, so here's hoping for an intense instrumental break. "Mama's always giving it away," Cabello captioned the clip. "(PS Writing this album is the best time of my life and I have so many stories to tell and memories to capture and things I want to say and I can't wait to show you)." Beyond teasing potential collaborations with Shawn Mendes and Mark Ronson, Cabello has been off the radar to work steadily on the new LP. Back in early December, the pop star announced an extended hiatus to "get some rest and inspiration for the next era."

Still, that announced hiatus isn't going to stop her from performing at the 2019 Grammy Awards on February 10. Word on the street is Cabello will open up the upcoming ceremony, which is a pretty big opportunity for her on top of her two nominations in the Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album categories.

In addition to that, Cabello is also up for several iHeartRadio Music Awards this year, including the fan-voted Best Fan Army presented by Taco Bell. Fans can vote via Twitter using the appropriate category and nominee hashtags, or by visiting iHeartRadio.com/awards through March 7th (March 13th for Best Fan Army). Find out who will be taking home an award this year by tuning into FOX on March 14th where the show will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles from 8-10 PM ET/PT.
