Will Meghan Markle Watch The Super Bowl?

Meghan Markle may be a member of the British Royal Family these days, but once upon a time, she was a girl growing up in Los Angeles. While she's living full time in London now, those personal roots run deep. So, one has to wonder: will the Duchess of Sussex be watching Super Bowl LIII on Sunday (Feb. 3)? Her hometown team, the Los Angeles Rams, will be facing off against the New England Patriots.

It's been a busy week with multiple engagements for the royal mom-to-be. Despite having seen a lot of Meghan this past week, she was never asked whether she'd be tuning into the big game. Even though Meghan has not revealed if she'll be cheering on The Rams this year, it would be surprising if she wasn't excited for Super Bowl LII. Meghan has actually attended two Super Bowls over the past few years, so, clearly, the Duchess is a fan.

On her now defunct lifestyle blog The Tig, Meghan revealed that she actually met her BFF Serena Willams at a Super Bowl party back in 2010. They reunited again four years later at a DirecTV flag football event for another Super Bowl and that's when their friendship really took off. “[We were] taking pictures, laughing through the flag football game we were both playing and chatting not about tennis or acting but about good old fashioned girly stuff,” the former actress wrote on her blog.

Not only is Meghan's hometown of Los Angeles represented at Super Bowl LII, it's also her nine-year friendship anniversary with Serena. Both of those seem like solid reasons to celebrate.
