Fresh off a star-studded set at the DirecTV Super Saturday Night event in Atlanta this weekend, Foo Fighters have some bad news for New Orleans-based fans. On Monday (February 4), the band announced on Twitter that they'd no longer be playing at the Fillmore this month as part of the venue's opening celebrations due to an undisclosed member injury. The shows will be rescheduled for mid-May.
“Due to a band member injury, Foo Fighters have been forced to reschedule their February 15-16 opening weekend at the Fillmore in New Orleans,” the statement reads. “The February dates have been reschedule to May 15 & 16.”
“The band apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling. They regret that they will no longer be able to christen the Fillmore New Orleans, but promise to bring it in May,” it continues.
