Charlamagne Tha God Talks Mental Health With MetroPlus Health

Metro Plus Health Plan and iHeart Radio teamed up to bring you the "Good4You" Series featuring Charlamagne Tha God. Metro Plus & iHeart have also worked in the past to bring you some incredible events that promote health such as a fashion show, a health & wellness expo + many more!

This event focused heavily on mental health with Charlamagne speaking about his new book "Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks on Me". Speaking about why he chose to speak about mental health in his second book he said: "I think the easiest thing to do in the world is be yourself, I was going to therapy and keeping a journal of everything going on in therapy, and everything in that journal became pages in the book, I jut threw the idea out there to the publisher I'm going to therapy to help my anxiety so why not talk about that". The panel also then discussed how being raised by your parents a certain way can affect you so far down the line in the future, causing you to relive those experiences.
