Tampa, Fla. (Newsradio WFLA) - A shooting left a man dead at a north Tampa apartment complex late Saturday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said. A Shot Spotter alert prompted deputies to respond to 2200 Cedar Trace Circle just before midnight and found the 33-year-old man wounded by gunfire in the parking lot. He died later at Advent Hospital, according to a news release from the HCSO. They did not reveal the victim's name pending notification of his relatives. Detectives search for a white Honda Odyssey van with a Florida license plate number KWTM28 and a white 1999 Honda CRV with Florida tag number IE31UX, the news release said.
