Florida Man Arrested For Throwing Cookie At His Girlfriend

A Florida man was taken into custody after he allegedly threw a hard cookie at his girlfriend. Police were called to the couple's home in Zephyrhills, which is about 30 miles from Tampa, to investigate the domestic incident.

The woman, who has not been identified, told police that her boyfriend, 41-year-old Wade Smith, hit her in the head with the cookie and it left a red mark on her forehead.

Smith admitted to the responding officers that he threw the cookie during an argument. He was taken to the Pasco County Jail in Land O' Lakes where he is facing one charge of domestic battery. He's being held on $500 bond.
