Southwest Airlines Says "Yes" to the Dress
March 5, 2019
Grayleigh Oppermann landed in Costa Rica and realized she forgot her bridesmaid dress back in Texas. She panicked and reached out to her friends back home to see if they could ship the bridesmaid dress in time for the wedding. Due to customs, FedEx said the earliest the dress would arrive would be Monday which is too late for the Saturday nuptials. So the friends took to Twitter and tagged Southwest Airlines in a request for help.
The tweet worked! Southwest replied, "Alright, let's do it!" They even created a dress tracker and posted the whole journey on twitter. Southwest didn't charge them for the special delivery. Follow along via twitter below.
