Weeks before embarking on their worldwide tour, BTS will release a brand-new album called Map of the Soul: Persona on April 12.

On Monday (March 11), the Korean phenomenon's company Big Hit Entertainment announced the project, which follows 2018's Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer. In a press release for Map of the Soul: Persona, the set was described as the "beginning of a new chapter" for the collective, but no other details were released. Pre-order for the album will be available beginning March 13. Devoted ARMY members know that the project was hinted at during their introductory video for the group's performance at the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Hong Kong.

Back in February, V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga announced 10 stadium dates for the "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour." As per the announcement, the worldwide trek will start on May 4 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, before traveling through Chicago, New Jersey, Brazil, London and France. The "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour" will proceed to Japan in July with four concluding dates.
