CMA 2017 Country Christmas

Reba McEntire will not be performing tonight's rescheduled concert date due to an apparent case of laryngitis that caused her to delay another show last week.

The country icon, whose ailment caused her to postpone her performance at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania on March 9, revealed on Instagram that her sickness, which made her unable to fulfill tonight's (March 16) rescheduled date, is actually worse than she imagined.

"What I originally thought was laryngitis has now turned into a strep infection," McEntire explained. "We are working to find a new date for this show, and all tickets for the show will be valid on the new date."

In light of the news, the artist also gave inquiring fans information to request a refund.

Per the events schedule on McEntire's website, the singer's next stop after Parx Casino won't be until June 15 at Harrah's Hoosier Park Outdoor Music Center, which we hope will allow the vocalist a much-needed respite.

Prior to her next performance stop, McEntire will be releasing her twenty-ninth studio album, Stronger Than the Truth, via Big Machine Records, on April 5. Days after, the "I'm a Survivor" entertainer will return to host the ACM Awards on April 7.

Until then, we're wishing Reba a speedy recovery!
