Forrest Gump 2 Would Have Featured O.J. Simpson And Princess Diana

Former NFL running back O.J. Simpson and the infamous white Ford Bronco were very close to making an appearance in the sequel to "Forrest Gump." The reason the sequel never made it on the big screen is because of the unfortunate 9/11 attacks.

Roth recently talked about what was going to happen in the second film, including run-ins with O.J. Simpson and Princess Diana.

"I had (Forrest Gump) in the back of O.J.'s Bronco," Roth said. "And that he would look up occasionally and they didn't see him in the rearview mirror, and he'd pop down."

Simpson played in the NFL from 1969 to 1979, almost all of his career with the Buffalo Bills.
