Disney World foodies were excited to hear about a new, delicious menu item at Port Orleans: French Quarter resort back in 2018. Boozy Beignets - officially known as Baton Rouge Beignets- is offered at Scat Cat's Lounge and the classic pillow-shaped Beignets are complete with your choice of Baileys, Kahlua, or Rumchata to inject into the flaky dough.
A year after boozy beignets made their debut the most magical place on Earth, Disney Food Blog reports that there's now a secret menu version of the tasty treat. They shared the exciting news on Instagram. "There’s a NEW SECRET MENU item in town! Disney World's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort has jazzed up its boozy beignets even MORE with Godiva chocolate liqueur!! They’re not on the menu, so be sure to ask for ‘em! What’s you’re must-get Dinsey dessert??" the post reads alongside a photo of the secret item.
According to Disney Food Blog, “the warm flaky dough plus the chilled liqueur is a perfect combination" and even compares the latest addition of boozy beignets to "adult chocolate milk."
Another exciting update is that guests can now mix and match liquor flavors when ordering boozy beignets. Guests used to have to choose one type of liquor for all three beignets that come with your order. Now, though, you can try one of each. One order of boozy beignets will set you back eight dollars.
