Kim Kardashian has high hopes for her second surrogacy experience.

While promoting her new sunglasses collab with eyewear brand Carolina Lemke on Tuesday (April 2), the businesswoman opened up to Entertainment Tonight about the "different experience" with her second surrogate pregnancy with baby number four with husband Kanye West.

As you know, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star suffered difficult natural births with her first two children: daughter North, 5, and son, Saint, 3. In January 2018, Kimye welcomed their third child, daughter Chicago, via surrogate, and announced nearly a year later that they were bringing their fourth child into the world via surrogate, reportedly early this May.

So what's changed for the future mommy-of-four since her first surrogacy?

"I love my surrogate, we have a really good relationship," the reality star told ET. "I really trust her and I definitely see, like, the first time that I went through it, I was a little bit more anxious, and texting more and calling more, and I feel like my surrogate this time around, really is such a protecting person and I really trust that in her."

"So, I feel really calm and at ease," Kim went on. "I don't know if it's a fourth kid thing or, we've been through the surrogacy before, you just get a little bit more calm as they go."

As Kim explained to PEOPLE, the woman who served as Chicago's "gestational carrier" was apparently incapable of carrying the embryo for her fourth child. “They hoped to work with the same gestational carrier, but it didn’t work out this time," Kim explained. "They are working with a second carrier now that is pregnant and will give birth in the spring.”
