There is truly nothing more thrilling than artists giving us clues into their lives through their music. It makes us feel as though they’re letting us in, and giving us more insight into their personal lives (which we so desperately want to be let into!) Sometimes, artists don’t make us do too much guessing, and make it very clear that they are writing about a specific person, sometimes a fellow celebrity. Below, we’ve listed out songs that celebrities have intentionally named and written about other celebrities. Whether it’s about a break up, a new love, or simply just admiration, you’ll want to know the backstory on these famous songs. Check it out!
1. Taylor Swift - "Tim McGraw"

2. Taylor Swift - "Dear John"
If this song didn’t leave you shook in 2010, we don’t know what did. 3. Ariana Grande - "Pete Davidson"
Ariana Grande’s last album, Sweetener, was actually released pretty recently in August 2018.
