The first-ever Game of Thrones soundtrack is coming!
HBO is really pulling out all the stops for the final season of the best show to ever grace television screens in the history of television — the one and only, GOT. (don't @ me) Just days ahead of the season premiere of the series' final season, HBO and Columbia Records treated fans with the surprise announcement, calling the soundtrack, titled For The Throne, a Game of Thrones–inspired album.
The diverse project, which features music from an array of artists and genres — it's got everyone from Travis Scott to Maren Morris to The Lumineers to Rosalía listed as contributors — marks the first time first time HBO has partnered with a major label to create a soundtrack specifically for the series.
And did I mention, the album is available with nine different covers for each house sigil? (Yes, even you House Lannister fans will have a cover to choose from) While you'll have to wait after the season eight premiere to hear the star-studded soundtrack, since it drops April 26, it is available for preorder!
Rally the realm.
