'SNL' Did A Cool Thing For BTS Fans Who Camped Outside All Week For Tickets

Saturday Night Live is totally ready for the BTS ARMY takeover this weekend.

As you know, V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga are scheduled to make their musical guest debut on SNL this Saturday (April 13). With all the excitement leading up to the event, BTS fans have been going the extra mile to make sure the get a ticket to the show — even if that meant braving the New York City chill for days on end.

That was exactly the case this week, as videos and photos of an ever-growing standby line of BTS fans who have been camping outside the building where SNL is filmed since Monday (April 8) started surfacing on Twitter. "THE LINE FOR SNL IS FORMING AND BTS ISNT EVEN IN THE DAMN COUNTRY YET EYE- #BTSxSNL," one user tweeted with images of the campsite.

Another fan tweeted, from the line: "Locals keep asking us who we’re camping for an the amount of people who’ve stopped by the SNLline and replied ‘Oh, I’ve heard of @BTS_twt!’ compared to when we were camping for them on Jimmy Fallon is really noticeable... ubiquitous kings indeed."

As of nine hours ago, at least 98 fans are waiting in line.

Noticing this, SNL created a new promo video tributing the BTS ARMY for this weekend's episode. In the clip, host Emma Stone and her female co-stars gush over the bandmates while camping out on the SNL stage ahead of the K-pop stars' big performance.
